Monday - Friday 9am-5pm and one hour prior to performances.

The MET

about the venue 

An arts venue with modern conference facilities in a beautiful and historic setting that has imaginatively been restored to its former Victorian grandeur. It offers ground floor acecss to the to the on-site box office, tehatre, toilet facilities and a ramp to the bar. We have designated wheelchair spaces in the Hall, which can be viewed and booked online, or over the phone. It is important that you feel your visit is relaxed and welcomed, and we appreciate all suggested improvements to accessibility. 

event spaces 

Access to all spaces within the MET are via the main entrance and there is a lift to the balcony and small meeting room, the Seabourne Gallery. 

 

venue facilities 

There is ground floor access to the toilets and changing facilities, auditorium, and a small ramp to the bar. 

There is lift access to the meeting room, Seabourne Gallery, and balcony seating. 

special access information 

We have six designated wheelchair spaces with companion seats, but additional provision can be made if required.

Guide dogs are allowed into performances and there is a wheelchair on site for customer use.

Seat Service is available on request. Paper brochure is not available in large print or braille but the website has an acess widget.

Car parking: a limited number of accessible parking spaces are available on request (subject to availability). Please contact the box office via email (box.office@awen-wales.com) or on 01495 533195. The nearest car park is located on James Street, just a few minutes walk away.
