The Ffwrnes is a newly-built state-of-the-art performance and conference venue in Llanelli with a Main House seating 504, a studio space seating up to 100 and other smaller meeting rooms. We're committed to making your visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, so please let our Box Office staff know of any special requirements in advance.
event spaces
The main entrance is on Park Street, which is partly pedestrianised. There is level access from the street to the box office, Bar Caffi Cwtsh and toilets on the ground floor.
The Oriel Bar, Stiwdio Stepni, Crochan and toilets are located on the first floor and are accessible by lift or stairs.
The main house theatre seating is spread across two levels; the stalls (which are tiered and accessed from the ground floor) and the circle (which is tiered and accessed by stairs or lift frm the first floor). The theatre seating can also be retracted for cabaret events.
The studio theatre seating is flexible and the layout varies according to the production; some seating will always be at floor level with further seating on a flexible tiered seating unit.

In the event of an emergency evacuation, our front of house will provide instructions on how to evacuate, the nearest muster points and refuge areas.
venue facilities
There are accessible toilets on both the ground floor and first floor. Toilets are plentiful and located across the building near to all the main spaces and rooms.
There is a small meeting and conference space (The Crochan) and a small meeting room (The Casting Room) on the first floor. Both spaces are fully accessible.
The backstage area also has a lift and all dressing rooms and backstage facilities are accessible.
The Ffwrnes Fach, a small social enterprise centre, is located in a former Zion chapel adjacent to the Ffwrnes, with 6 modern self-contained ground floor offices. Access to the Ffwrnes Fach is via a stair-lift.

Spaces for wheelchair users are available in both the stalls and circle in the Main House and in the Stiwdio Stepni. Please contact the Box Office for more information.
An infrared hearing assistance system is in place throughout the building.

Guide dogs are welcome. Please inform the Box Office when booking your tickets and they will help you find the most suitable seat. Water bowls can be provided on request.

The Ffwrnes is located in Llanelli's Eastgate area and is within walking distance of the Eastgate pay & display car park. The town's bus station is within walking distance and a taxi rank is located on Park Street right outside the theatre. There are a limited number of accessible parking bays at the rear of the theatre, accessed from the A484/John Street.
